Ng Fung Hong operates three of the five government abattoirs in Hong Kong: the Kennedy Town, Tsuen Wan and Yuen Long slaughterhouses. This accounts for over 70% of the market share.

The Company has also obtained the operation service contract of the Sheung Shui Slaughterhouse, which is built to replace the Kennedy Town, Yuen Long and Cheung Sha Wan slaughterhouses. It is one of the most modernized slaughterhouses in Southeast Asia and will commence operations in mid 1999.

Besides, the Group has invested in a meat processing plant in Hubei to ensure a steady supply of frozen meat to Hong Kong. This also serves to enhance vertical integration of its operation.
